As I was helping my sister get out of her clothes into the standard-issue hospital gown and robe, I commented on her sneakers -- cobalt blue Under Armours with florescent salmon laces and trim.
My own -- nearly five-year-old basic white Asics -- can't hold a candle to them in the coolness department.
Once I asked her about the size, the deal was sealed.
I'm certainly not walking in her shoes (nor she in mine), but I am wearing her sneakers here in MSKCC's Family Waiting Area. I'll return them to her tomorrow so we can keep on keepin' on -- going to other than chemo and doctors' appointments together.
